The Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, both Old and New Testament. It was written by Holy men of God who were inspired by the Holy Spirit.
The Godhead
We believe, there is but one true and living God. In the Godhead there are three persons of one individual essence, who are co-equal, co-existed, and co-eternal; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Man, His Fall, His Redemption
We believe man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God. Through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifested to undo the works of the devil. He gave His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God.
Salvation
We believe salvation is possible only through the meritorious work of Jesus Christ on the cross and through the Holy Spirit's conviction. Godly sorrow works repentance and makes possible the experience of the new birth, and Christ formed within us is the gift of eternal life. Salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the Law, and is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God.
The Church
We believe the true Church, built upon the foundation of Jesus Christ, is the body of the Lord, Christ being the head. Its earthly constituents are all true believers, born-again of the Spirit and of the Word, who are living an overcoming Christian life.
Tithe
We believe and recognize the scriptural duty of all our people, as well as ministers, to pay their tithe offerings unto the Lord.
Water Baptism
We believe baptism in water is by immersion, in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and is a direct commandment of our Lord. The ordinance is a symbol of the believer's identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. It is a witness to the world of one's conversion to Christianity.
Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God, as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers, and is subsequent to the new birth. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is accompanied by speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance, as the initial physical sign and evidence.
Sanctification
We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite yet progressive work of grace; commencing at the time of salvation, and continuing until the consummation of salvation.
The Lord's Supper
We believe the ordinance of the Lord's Supper is a commandment of our Lord, and is a memorial to His death and resurrection, and is limited to Christian believers.
Divine Healing |
We believe divine healing is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is available to all who believe.
Resurrection of the Just
We believe Jesus’ coming is imminent and prior to the tribulation. When He comes we believe “The dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.”
The Coming of the Lord
We believe in the millennial reign of Jesus Christ upon the earth. He shall return to the earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Together with His saints, who shall be kings and priests, “He shall reign a thousand years.”
Hell and Eternal Retribution
We believe those who do not believe and obey God’s word are presently under condemnation of God; Their failure to accept Christ as Savior will result in their being cast into the lake of fire (hell), which is described as the second death.
